Topic 2 : Principle vs. Nationalism

Are Gandhian principles eternal or do they need to evolve in the light of never ending terrorist attacks on our motherland?

  2. Gandhian Principles do not even peep into this MACRO picture of blood & violence. We as the educated, are aware that Gandhian principles were effective against much more open minded British officials.
Dealing with psychic terror groups is totally opposite to the pre-independence war. Those following Gandhi's principles at this moment are quite understandably slackening the anti terror movements across India.
Any sensible Nationalist would rightly respond to ruthless & baseless terrorist attacks by not only condemning them but also acting towards elimination of future attacks by stimulating their own movement such as a small initiative of publicising this debate and popularising it amongst friends.

According to me, Follow Gandhi's principles & get hit more. Till when shall we withstand innocent deaths and live like feared chickens at the mercy of wild psychos?

  3. My arguments imply that Gandhian principles have to be totally evolved in order to face the present crisis of never ending terrorism. And I have gone one step forward by trying to parallely initiate a movement against terror in a small way.

    Simple isn't it !!
